Senior Salesforce Consultant

Location: USA, Hybrid Onsite Key Responsibilities: IES Gateway Integration: Design and implement comprehensive integration solutions between Salesforce and IES Gateway, ensuring reliable data synchronization and process automation.Solution Architecture: Develop end-to-end Salesforce solutions that effectively leverage IES Gateway capabilities for grant management and financial reporting.System Integration: Create robust integration patterns using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools to establish secure data flows between Salesforce and state systems.Technical Leadership: Guide development teams in implementing integration solutions while ensuring adherence to both Salesforce and state system standards.Compliance & Security: Ensure solutions meet federal and state security requirements, implementing proper data protection and audit mechanisms.Business Collaboration: Partner with DECAL stakeholders to gather requirements and translate complex integration needs into technical solutions.Grant Management: Design solutions that leverage IES Gateway for streamlined grant processing, financial reporting, and compliance tracking.Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all integration components, including architecture diagrams, API specifications, and security protocols.Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.Experience: Minimum 7+ years in Salesforce architecture and development roles.2+ years experience with government system integrations.Proven experience with state-level eligibility systems or similar platforms. Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and integration patterns.Strong experience with API design, web services, and ETL processes.Proficiency in integration technologies (MuleSoft, SOAP/REST APIs, middleware).Deep understanding of government eligibility systems and grant management processes. Location: Herndon, VA (100% Remote) Job Type: Contract ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as a member of the Digital & Technology Solutions department partnering with Finance areas to support the configuration and maintenance of Workday Banking & Settlement, Budget, Business Assets, Expenses, FDM, Financial Accounting, Grants, Projects, reporting, analytics, and integrations.Develop and implement best practices for Workday system use, including workflows, dashboards, and reporting capabilities.Gather feedback from users, analyze workflows, and implement enhancements or customizations to meet evolving business needs.
